Tsuri.

They called to her. They beckoned her. But, her body wouldn't move for her. It wouldn't move.

Tsuri.

She stayed frozen in place, watching them as they drifted around the ground. They came together and came apart again. They called her name over and over again.

Do you want to play?

She wanted to reply. She had to reply. She opened her mouth and began to form the words...

"Sis!"

Tsuri started and found herself back to reality, not realizing that she had left in the first place.

She turned towards the direction of the voice, finding her younger half-brother looking at her with a sardonic expression on his face. "What is it, Kal?" She already knew what it was, though. This had happened too many times already.

"Jeez, I've been calling you for the past ten minutes, Sis. You've been off in wonderland or something." He glanced at the clock. "Now, you only have five minutes to get to school."

"What? Why didn't you tell me earlier?!"

"I told you! You wouldn't listen!"

But, Tsuri was already out the door and barely heard him.

Her feet met the pavement each time with a dull thud as she ran. After a couple blocks, Tsuri had formed the opinion that the world was against her and that she shouldn't bother trying to make it to school on time because she obviously wasn't going to. A couple moments after that thought came into her mind, the girl was walking leisurely, as if on a pleasant, early morning stroll.

Of course, she was late.

"Rina," Mei called, empathisizing her name--or, rather, nickname, "you were late again today. Been off in wonderland, huh?"

Tsuri huffed in response, not bothering to come up with a retort.

"I swear, one of these days, those things you see will get you in big trouble, and no one will be there to help you when that happens."

"That won't happen." Oh, how wrong she was.

The visions--as she so chose to call them, rather than hallucinations--came again while she was on her way home. This time, however, she wasn't frozen, and had full control of her body as well as mind.

Tsuri

After making sure that no one was around, she snapped, "What?" She didn't want to look like a lunatic again.

Come play with us

"What? No! You guys aren't even real!"

They seemed not to have heard her. Come play with us. Then, they started drifting away, towards a different path that Tsuri had never noticed before. Come play with us.

And, suddenly, Tsuri found herself following them. It wasn't a conscious choice, as every step of the way her mind was telling that she was insane. She shouldn't be following these... creatures that aren't even real.

Without warning, they disappeared, leaving Tsuri standing there, panting heavily, at a dead end.

"What... the... hell...?!"

She turned and found that she didn't know where she was and that the path that she had taken to get here had disappeared completely. "Oh, wonderful. I'm lost." And, talking to herself sarcastically wasn't helping either.

Then, suddenly, she felt something tugging at her. Instantly, she whirled around, trying to find out who it was and kick their ass while she was at it. But, instead, she was met with a glaring light, a dark hole.

"Is this a..." The next thing went unspoken. Dimensional hole?

Seconds later, she felt herself falling through it.
From me and my friend Crystal's roleplay Peach Fish Soup, 1st Ingredient: Fish Bones

Intro for my character Tsuri

Tsuri is an old character, created two or three years ago specifically for a previous roleplay that me and my friend did (Fates Intertwined). She was remodeled recently, with her personality and past both fixed to my satisfaction. Now, she is a crazy girl who always sees these "creatures" that aren't there. She's both crazier and not as crazy as she thinks.

Mei is a new character. The nickname she calls Tsuri is actually her middle name.

Tsuri has two younger half-brothers (twins), Kalin and Tanal (both created around the same time she was). They aren't really that important as of yet.
